Puma Peace | Short Film

Our film has been screened internationally at One Young World (Zurich, Switzerland) in 2011, the World Peace Festival (Berlin, Germany) in 2011.

One Young World is a Summit that is staged annually and invites world leaders and 200 young people from around the world to connect and formulate solutions to problems with which the world faces. Tom and I were lucky enough to be two of those people invited in the 2011 Summit held in Zurich where our film was screened.

For us, peace is about letting go. We all have the
potential to destroy each other and our resistance
to letting go of our defenses makes conflict
much more dangerous. Our film follows a society
of living threads as they desperately support
hundreds of bladed objects in mid-air.

This piece is built around the theme of fear and paranoia—the idea that our own defenses can become a prison from which it’s impossible to escape. A society of living threads desperately try to support hundreds of bladed objects in mid-air, terrified of what might happen if they fall.
